Good morning ThunderBolt Fans! It has been a phenomenal weekend for yours truly as the T-Bolts extended their winning streak to 4 games. On Saturday, the parrot heads were out in full force sporting the Hawaiian leis. Ed Bugajski and Kathy Burke threw out the ceremonially first pitch (pictured) in front of 3,000 fans and I think I ate my weight in cheeseburgers!
Yesterday’s game against the London Rippers ended in a WIN (7-6). So I hope the Bolts can continue the streak. Speaking of tonight’s game the weather report is calling for 100 degrees so make sure you drink plenty of fluids to beat the heat and cheer on our team. With just a game behind first place the Bolts are close on the Schaumburg Boomers trail. No that’s not a typo I did say Boomers not be confused with Boomer, the ThunderBolts’ mascot. Now I can smell a foul ball from miles away and with the new team taking Boomer’s name some concern for him is needed. I’ve even tried to interview our lovable mascot to get his thoughts on the first place team stealing his name but he was too busy pumping up the crowd.
Unlike Boomer’s identity your personal information is at risk of being stolen on a much more serious level. 15 million United States residents have their identities used fraudulently each year with financial losses totaling upwards of $50 billion!
