If you’ve participated in our Travel Club adventures before, you know that it’s a very special benefit only for Standard Bank customers. And, it’s a great way to enjoy exciting destinations both near and far, without the hassle of making all the arrangements yourself. If you haven’t participated before, this 6-day motor coach tour is a great place to start.

Your trip starts when Mayflower Tours picks you up at your home, and kicks off with a tour of downtown Chicago, guided by a local expert. Then it’s off to two nights in picturesque Holland, where you’ll see a tulip farm, windmill and miniature Netherlands Village, and watch the festive Muziekparade, the highlight of the festival.

More old-world charm awaits on beautiful Mackinac Island, where a horse-drawn carriage will take you to the Grand Hotel for two nights. Stroll the island’s shops and scenic paths, then relax on the hotel’s storied front porch before enjoying an elegant dinner in the gracious dining room.

But there’s one more stop on our old world tour, in Frankenmuth,  Michigan’s “Little Bavaria.”  Enjoy some old-fashioned gemutlichkeit with a stay at the welcoming Bavarian Inn, and a visit to the town’s charming shops and authentic covered bridge. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to enjoy hearty Bavarian food, and perhaps a stein or two of locally brewed beer. And before heading back home, you’ll stop at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, the world’s largest Christmas store.
