You’ll experience 9 days of the excitement and beauty that the California Coast has to offer. Arrive in the “City by the Bay” to enjoy a welcome dinner in Chinatown. Over the next week, your travels will take you on a tour of San Francisco, Union Square, Golden Gate Park, Nob Hill and Fort Point, and shopping at Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39. Enjoy a cruise on San Francisco Bay, passing Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. Spend a night in beautiful Monterey, and walk through the forest of towering redwood trees in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Enjoy dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company on Monterey’s Cannery Row. Enjoy a tour of the magnificent Hearst Castle filled with priceless art treasures and surrounded by elegant gardens. Next, we will visit the Danish Community of Solvang with its “gingerbread” architecture and tour Santa Barbara with its Spanish mission. You will spend 2 nights in Los Angeles, City of Angels. Enjoy a guided tour of Hollywood including Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Boulevard along with Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip and Rodeo Drive. In Temecula, take a guided tour and wine tasting at Callaway Winery and then onto San Diego with a city tour and harbor cruise. Lastly, a visit to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, with dinner in Seaport Village.
